Love is Our Mission: Created for Joy

Fr. Jordan Kelly, O.P. and Fr. Jonah Pollock, O.P. of St. Catherine of Siena church in New York will be presenting a series of weekly videos in preparation for the World Meeting of Families.  Entitled Love is Our Mission: The Family Fully Alive, the series will explore how “the blessing of Pope Francis’ visit to the United States offers us the opportunity to rediscover God’s great love for us. This moment of grace calls us to be mindful of the ways we experience God’s love both in the family of the Church and in our own families.”  Over the course of the ten-week series, Fr. Kelly and Pollock will offer brief reflections on how Catholic teaching about marriage, family, and human sexuality flow from our basic beliefs about Jesus.  If interested in exploring the themes of the talks in greater detail, Saint Catherine’s has copies of the full preparatory catechesis for the World Meeting of Families available in the parish office for a donation of $10.  Below is the first installment of the series, entitled “Created for Joy.”   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGNum1OZ7Rk
